Fresh Meat is a British comedy series that revolves around six students at Manchester University and shows their various struggles and funny experiences, which is a good reflection of true uni life. Stars include comedian Jack Whitehall and Joe Thomas from The Inbetweeners.

Based on John le Carré’s famous novel, a former British soldier Jonathan Pine (played by Tom Hiddleston) sees his world turned upside when he is contacted by intelligence operatives to spy on a mysterious international businessman.

The series sees Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) a 30-year-old from New York sentenced to 15 months in Litchfield Penitentiary. It has received six golden globes.
7.) Peaky Blinders (IMDB 8.8/10)
A gangster family epic set in post war Birmingham. They sew razor blades into the peaks of their caps and it centres on their boss Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy), who means to move up in the world.

6.) Mad Men (8.6/10)
Set in 1960s New York, alpha male Don Draper (Jon Hamm) struggles to stay on top of the heap in the high-pressure world of Madison Avenue advertising firms. There are seven seasons and 92 episodes.
5.) The Walking Dead (IMDB 8.5/10)
Based on the comic book series by Robert Kirkman, this gritty drama chucks you into a post-apocalyptic world taken over by zombies. You follow a group led by police officer Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln).
4.) Suits (IMDB 8.6/10)
Set at a fictional law firm in New York. The focal point of the series follows college dropout Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) who works as an associate for Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), despite never attending law school.
3.) Dexter (IMDB 8.8/10)
Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) is Miami Metro’s blood spatter expert who doesn’t just solve murders, but commits them. By night he is a serial killer, murdering people who slip through the net.

When high school chemistry teacher Walter White (Brian Cranston) finds out he is terminally ill with cancer, he decides to earn as much money as he can by turning his old RV into a meth lab.

If you haven’t heard of this, where have you been? The biggest TV series of all time based on George RR Martin ‘a Song of Ice and Fire’ is brought to life in a medieval fantasy epic. Kings, Queens, dragons, swords, magic and amazing landscapes. If you don’t give this a try don’t bother at all.
