Avengers Infinity War Review – What a Marvel

It’s one of the biggest films of 2018 and ‘it has all been leading to this’. Avengers Infinity War did not disappoint.

This film franchise has always entertained and each film adds to the amazing universe that has been built up.

Some of the Marvel cast at Comic Con.

It all began with Iron Man in 2008 and in the 10 years after it has resulted in 17 more films with the latest instalment of Infinity War being the second most expensive film of all time at $300 million and captivating comic book fans as well as the whole world.

It was obvious that the ‘Mad Titan’ Thanos  who has been teased ever since 2012’s Avengers Assemble in the end credit scene that his quest to complete his gauntlet with all the Infinity stones.

Marvel president Kevin Fiege has crafted an amazing cinematic universe.

The story line has been a strong thread over the last 10 year’s and the start of first finale was outstanding.

The film made me sad, happy, cheer and gasp, basically every emotion under the sun.

The CGI and battle scenes were some of the most explosive and extraordinary in the MCU.

Each character got their fair share and shone. Whilst Thanos is to date the best villain in the MCU played perfectly by Josh Brolin.

The Red Skulls return was one I did not see coming and the hiding place of the soul stone was unexpected.

The start of the film kicked off with a bang with the death of fan favourite Loki. While Gamora’s death tore at the heartstrings.

The disintegration scene especially emotional with Spider Man was so sad. “I don’t want to go.”

As well as Thanos, Josh Brolin will be Cable in Deadpool 2

Peter Dinklage had quite a funny cameo.

The film ended on a cliff hanger with Thanos sitting on his hill proud of his work.

The Avengers now have it all to do in their next outing in the untitled Avengers sequel.

Game of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage starred in his cameo role.

The post credit scene teased the introduction of Captain Marvel in the MCU with her having an impact on the war.

She also has her own solo film after the next MCU film of Ant Man and the Wasp.

Overall Infinity War is my favourite Marvel film, with a mark of 10/10 and even more.

What a 10 years it has been I cannot wait for part two.

Thanos will return in the untitled Avenges sequel next year.
