Everything you need to know about Summer Ball 2018

This year’s finale to the end of year at Christ Church takes place on Saturday 19th May and see’s the lines of Professor Green and Lucy Spraggan headline the Summer Ball event so we thought we’d give you a heads up on everything you need to know about the Ball.

Where and when is it?

The Ball takes place on Saturday 19th May 2018 and in on the grounds of the former Canterbury Prison right next to the Canterbury Campus. Did you know? Ronnie and Reggie Kray, two of the most notorious gangsters to come out of London’s East End, served time there!

What should I expect?

The Ball is a time for everyone to get dressed up and celebrate the end of exams, the end of year, and the start of summer. Not sure what to wear? Check out this article.

Who’s performing?

There’s a wide range of acts taking to the stage from the headliners Professor Green and Lucy Spraggan all the way through to our student acts City Players, Declan Fields, and Team Afro Styles… plus everything in between. There’s even Hodor from Game of Thrones! You can read biographies and see videos of all the acts here.

How much is it?

Earlybird tickets sold out in March and general release tickets cost £38 each. You can however save yourself some money by going with friends and buying a group deal. A 4 ticket deal works out as £35 a ticket, and a 6 ticket group deal comes in at £32 a ticket. There were 8 ticket deals but these have all sold out now too. Buy your ticket now.
