Dynasties: What time is it on?

David Attenborough is returning to our screens tonight with his new TV series Dynasties.

The show will last for five episodes, and revolves around ‘five great families’.

Each episode will follow a different species in their natural habitat, and promises to ‘reveal the most intimate and intense stories of their kind ever told’.

When is it on?

The show airs tonight at 8:30pm on BBC1.

The first episode follows David, an alpha-male chimpanzee who lives in west Africa.

David faces an every day battle to maintian his leadership of his troop of chimpanzees.

Other epsiodes revolve around emperor penguins in Atka Bay in Antarctica, lions on the plains of the Masa Mara reserve in Kenya, painted wolves in the Mana Pools National Park in Zimbabwe and tigers in India’s Bandhavgarh National Park.
