American Football

Unfortunately, it was a loss at home to Queens Mary 34-12.

Athletics

Better news for the athletics team who secured two personal bests, with one of them seeing Rono win his 800m heat.

Equestrian

Our equestrian team managed to secure a great 4th place overall as a team at Surrey. Camilla came 10th in the individual event.

Captain Morwenna Killen was understandably proud of the team.

“We came 4th as a team, which wasn’t the best result, but up against strong competition we did very well and have got feedback which we can work on and become a lot better at. It was a successful day as a team, because two of our riders have had serious falls whilst showjumping, but had clear and stylish jumping rounds, overcoming their nerves. Camilla Wallis was placed 10th individually.

“It was a fun and cheerful day had by the team, yet again doing our club proud!”

Cricket

A great week for our cricketers as all four teams won their matches. Both the 1s and the 2s beat their Gravesend opponents by 6 wickets. Our 3s beat UKC by 2 wickets and the 4s beat Canterbury 3s by 4 wickets.

Our women’s cricket team played UKC at the weekend in their first BUCS fixture and got off to a great start, beating them by 2 wickets.

Women’s Basketball

In another derby against, our girls beat UKC 58-46 in a closely fought game.

Football

It was another clean sweep for the men’s football teams. The 1’s won comfortably 5-0 against LSE, and 2’s won 4-2 against UKC. Our 3’s won 3-2 and the 4’s came out on top 2-1 against St Mary’s with the winner being a 91st minute penalty.

Not quite as good result for our girls who unfortunately lost 4-2 to Brighton.

Netball

Netball captain, Olivia Miles said: “We won against St Mary’s 1st, 53-37. Was a brilliant game, and was the best we’ve played all season by far. Every individual put all of their effort in and it definitely showed on court.

“My player of the match is Georgia Day who played outstanding in defence and picked up lots of loose balls.”

An outstanding result for 1s, who beat Kings 2s 8-0.

Our women’s team had an equally successful week with the 1’s beating King’s 2-1, while the 2’s drew 3-3 in a tight match.

Women’s Lacrosse

Not such a good week for our women’s LaX team who lost away to Essex 20-6.

Have a well deserved break this Christmas, C4!

Hey – I’m working with a company that is looking for sites that have content relating to clothing and I came across yours.

Any chance you’d be open to hearing about a way you could link to a merchant and make money in the case someone clicks on the link and purchases something?

Just wanted to see if it’s something you’d be interested in hearing about! If not, I hope you have a great day!
