The C4 dancers and footballers took over the Christ Church Student’s Union for Charity ‘Come Dance With Me’ event last night – raising over £800.
The breakdown saw that £450.49 was raised for Teenage Cancer Trust and £373.11 will go to the Bobby Moore Fund.
CCSU lounge bar and kitchen at the students’ union on St George’s Street hit full capacity by 7:45 pm with Sports teams from the University battling it out to take the title.
All the money was raised for Teenage Cancer Trust and the Bobby Moore Trust, with it being over one hundred pounds more raised than the same event last year.
The night began by committee members of the dance and football team recreating the Jingle Bell Rock Dance from the film Mean Girls, drawing a huge response from the crowd of supporters.

Men’s Hockey won the competition with their jazz burlesque, which had the crowd cheering louder than any other dance.
The night not only saw the sports teams out of their comfort zone, but it also brought together individuals from all different backgrounds and with a variety of skills. The success of this event for two years running suggests it is going to be a continual annual success in the future.
