REVEALED: Canterbury PRIDE 2019 dates released!

Every year, Canterbury holds host to Kent’s biggest pride festival.

The event is a celebration of everything LGBT+, with live music, good food, and most importantly, an explosion of colour.

Last year’s event saw a wide range of bands performing, including everyone’s childhood favourite S-Club.

And event organiser Ed Withers promises that this year will be even more diverse.

“We are sticking with the same formula that everyone knows and loves,” Ed said. “But we are working extra hard on putting on a really diverse show this year.
“There will be an estimated 20K attendees this year.”
Take a look at last year’s celebrations:

When and where is Pride 2019 being held?

Pride 2019 is being held on June 15. The event begins at 11:00, and ends at 23:00.

The festival will take place in Dane John Gardens with a main stage, cocktail bar, picnic areas and Bake Mates stall!
