Students’ Union Elections 2019: Who are your new presidents?
Last night was one of the biggest nights for the Christ Church Students’ Union – we found out who the sabbatical presidents will be for the next academic year.
Over 2000 students voted in this year’s SU elections; we saw candidates campaigning hard on and off campus, it looked like a close match between all the fantastic candidates this year.

Phil Kloppenborg was re-elected, meaning he’ll back for another year of being our SU president.

President of Development
A fresh face for the role of President of Development: Becky Thomson! We saw her campaign hard for this role, which surely paid off!

President of Wellbeing
Another re-election for this role, last year we saw Jamie Harris take on the position of Wellbeing President. It looks like students his hard work didn’t go unnoticed by Christ Church students.
He’ll be back for another year of sabbatical as President of Wellbeing.

President of Sports
This position had some strong candidates this year, a close match between a couple of the candidates – but in the end, the students voted for a re-election of this year’s sports president: Chloe Woolaway!
It felt like only yesterday that Unified captured Chloe’s winning moment from the previous year. Here’s this year!
