Who knew more than half of the most successful female entrepreneurs do not have a university degree?

You’ve come to university, your course is interesting, you make the majority of lectures and you’re aiming for a good grade but deep down you aren’t very passionate. Sound like you?

Fashion brand Missy Empire has conducted some research revealing that over half of the most successful female entrepreneurs do not even have a college or university degree.

So… don’t get me wrong make sure you work and get your degree but have your fun and see where your future career leads. Who knows you could end up as successful as these top 10 ‘girl boss’ celebrity entrepreneurs!

With Fashion, Cosmetics and Food and beverages being the top 5 most lucrative girl boss industries and how their success was measured being partly based on searches per month, maybe all those Instagram posts of your makeup before a night out, your OOTD and your cute and aesthetic lunch date really do matter!

Despite all the talk of men being higher paid and treated with greater respect in the workplace, this research proves that compared to their counterparts, self-made female entrepreneurs earn twice as much for themselves (141% more in some cases).

53% of successful females do not have a degree.

80% of these women lead charitable organisations.

40% made their money during their 30’s, so students you still have a long time to worry about your finances and measuring self success (enjoy your uni years).
