DeadAir – CSRfm’s spooky new interactive radio show

This Halloween CSRfm are bringing us a brand new interactive murder mystery radio show. ‘DeadAir’ will be broadcast throughout the day on Thursday, with listeners able to call, text and get involved through social media to work out who the murderer might be.

It is a start of a new annual Halloween tradition called Horrorfest created by Isabella Poretsis, with ‘DeadAir’ kicking it off as the very first Horrorfest event.

CSRfm describe the set up saying: ‘The first scene is laid in CSR’s Studio Red as a few presenters attempt to put on a live Halloween special, only it all goes wrong when the first thing they see is Derek dead on their freshly hoovered studio floor.

Follow them as they become ‘secret’ murder detectives and hopelessly and hilariously fail to keep the ever-growing number of deaths a secret from the authorities, all whilst not at all keeping calm and carrying on…’

All actors involved in the production are presenters at CSRfm with some guest appearances from past show guests. There will also be an unmissable interview with Canterbury Christ Church University’s very own Dr. Michael Goodrum, Senior Lecturer of History, and Superhero and Gothic Horror Specialist.

After the show there will be a special creative hour from 6pm to 7pm, with local spoken word artists, story tellers and poets. These include Claudia Volpe, Isabella Poretsis, Alys Parsons, Sam Tate, Henry Maddicott, Thomas Cleary and Alex Brand.

Don’t forget to tune into CSRfm/97.4fm this Thursday from 9am to 6pm for a day full of twists and turns!
